Dieses Gemälde schuf der später sehr bekannte spanische Maler und Bildhauer Vicente de Espona Carrera in seiner Dependence in Brasilien im Jahre 1965.
Dort beschäftigte er sich zu dieser Zeit sehr mit mystischen und mythologischen Themen.
Im Jahre 1970 verlegte er und seine Frau ihren Lebensmittelpunkt nach Barcelona. Im Jahre 1971 zog man nach Marbella (Malaga) um. Dort wurde das Gemälde an eine deutsche Sammlerin verkauft.
Seine Witwe wird demnächst ein Buch mit seinem Lebenswerk (Bronzen, Statuen, Wandmalereien, öffentliche Denkmäler und Ölgemälden) veröffentlichen. Dieses Gemälde wird in diesem Werkverzeichnis enthalten sein. Es gibt in Marbella eine Galerie, die ausschließlich Espona-Werke anbietet.
